How we Approach SEO

Our SEO Approach was first taught to me by industry leader Edward Sturm who was an SEO for Global companies like Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, ADP, and Time Inc.

When someone is interested in a product, generally they start at the top of the funnel gathering information and after some time, end up at the bottom with a purchase decision.

Here is an example of what that could look like:

Imagine you are someone who sells different types of socks and you have two customers interested in finding a new pair.

One person might do a top of funnel search: Best running socks

The other might do a bottom of funnel search: Sock store Near Me

Although both searches are valuable, search B is more likely to lead to a conversion.

However, most SEO’s first instinct is to go after search A because it has 6,700 more searches each month.

If you hire the wrong SEO you will be stuck spending money on Search A pages that will likely never show up on the first page of Google.

At Parr Marketing we focus on bottom of funnel keywords first. We do extensive research finding exact keyword gaps in the market where a well optimized page can quickly rank not only on the first page of Google but literally first overall.

  • If you like what we have come up with we will send over our work agreement and get started. We do not lock you into a contract, we want you to want to work with us, not have to.

  • After all onboarding documents are signed off on we give you a checklist of things we will need from your team like access to your website. Once all items from the checklist are completed we begin work and get you ranking!

  • We really like getting to know our clients and meeting regularly via Zoom. We are excited about what we are doing and want to show you. Generally we have these meetings once a month so as to not burden your team but will absolutely meet more often with our most engaged teams. Between meetings you can always check on our progress through the our portal.
