How we Approach SEO
Our SEO Approach was first taught to me by industry leader Edward Sturm who was an SEO for Global companies like Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, ADP, and Time Inc.
When someone is interested in a product, generally they start at the top of the funnel gathering information and end up at the bottom with a purchase decision.
Here is an example of what that could look like:
Imagine you are someone who sells different types of socks and have two customers interested in finding a new pair.
One person might do a top of funnel search: Best running socks
The other might do a bottom of funnel search: Sock store in Waynesville
Although both searches are valuable, search B is more likely to lead to a conversion. However, most SEO’s first instinct is to go after search A because it has 6,700 more searches each month.
